lovable

So here I was, all set to start the new year right, planning to post something new once a week, plus post other random musings as they came to me in between and two weeks into 2013 and I didn't get anything posted last week.  I'm sorry.  I'm working on it.
Here is one of my new favorite layouts featuring my lovable, adorable girls, Cosmo Cricut and burlap ribbon flowers:

I loved this Tea for Two line from Cosmo Cricut--pinks, creams, yellows, greens, all some of my favorite colors, especially when used together.  I stamped the big heart from a Wendi Vecchi stamp set and colored it in with Tim Holtz distress markers.  The lovable card and pin are from Maya Road and I die cut the leaves and punched the plain hearts.

You can see the burlap ribbon flowers I made in this close-up.  I got the ribbon at Michaels and twirled and coiled it to create these roses.  You know I love layering patterned papers to create backgrounds and I did that here, anchoring my photos on the kraft card stock.  The doily is from Martha Stewart, and of course, I inked.

Get happy, and get scrappy!
